{"id":8472,"date":"2025-09-25T09:58:52","date_gmt":"2025-09-25T09:58:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/afriquecreative.fr\/?p=8472"},"modified":"2025-09-30T15:14:47","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T15:14:47","slug":"8472-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/afriquecreative.fr\/en\/8472-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Heading to Johannesburg for the closing event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Final Clap!<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From 5\u201311 October 2025, the Afrique Cr\u00e9ative cohort comes together one last time for the closing bootcamp of its third edition.<\/strong> Fifteen creative leaders will meet in Johannesburg for a unique, immersive experience at the heart of South Africa\u2019s vibrant cultural ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afrique Cr\u00e9ative\u2014an initiative of the French Development Agency (AFD) that supports the growth of cultural and creative businesses across Africa\u2014is coming to an end after 12 months of intensive incubation and mentoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this final event, Afrique Cr\u00e9ative will be hosted by the <strong>12<sup>th<\/sup> Fak'ugesi <a href=\"https:\/\/fakugesi.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">African Digital Innovation Festival<\/a>, <\/strong>happening from 7-12 October in Johannesburg. There, theentrepreneurs will  showcase their work in a dedicated exhibition space, connect with international audiences, and engage in global conversations on digital creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program highlights<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bootcamp will open with a <strong>final workshop<\/strong>, where the cohort will take stock of their progress, reflect on their impact, and explore future perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the Fak&#039;ugesi Festival, entrepreneurs from Creative Africa will be honored through <strong>exhibition stands<\/strong> presenting their creative products and services, particularly during days dedicated to professionals in the sector, the \u201cFak&#039;ugesi PRO\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to pitch their projects in a <strong>full day of pitches <\/strong>(<em>PechaKucha<\/em>), to participate in sessions of <strong>speed networking<\/strong> with investors and other creative entrepreneurs, and to take part in <strong>high-level panels <\/strong>such as discussions on artificial intelligence and the future of creative industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, the bootcamp will include the<strong>Launch of the new Afrique Creative advocacy booklet, \u201c <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.afd.fr\/fr\/resources\/perspectives-investissement-industries-culturelles-creatives-afrique\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>What next for investment in cultural and creative industries in Africa?<\/strong><\/a><strong> \u00bb<\/strong>Presented by author Yarri Kamara alongside Afrique Cr\u00e9ative entrepreneurs and an AFD representative, the panel will highlight lessons learned, social impact, and investment opportunities to strengthen the sector\u2019s future.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ready for this surge of creativity?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clap de fin!
