Afrique Créative 2021, in partnership with incubators

Afrique Créative 2021 surrounds itself with the expertise of local Entrepreneurship Support Structures (ESS) that can support the acceleration of cultural and creative enterprises in the 9 target countries.

The incubators will accompany the selected companies (pre-incubation and incubation phases) and will support them in refining and implementing the strategy developed in their acceleration project. This support is totally tailored to the needs of the entrepreneurs.

The partner incubators for the second edition of Afrique Créative are:

  • Burkina Faso :

Convinced that social entrepreneurship is an effective means of growth and development for Burkina Faso, La Fabrique has set itself the mission of identifying project leaders and co-constructing with them sustainable businesses with a strong impact on society and/or the environment.

  • Cameroon :

ActivSpaces (African Center for technology and Innovation Ventures) Spaces is a unique community / collaboration space in Cameroon for startups, freelancers, designers, entrepreneurs and independent thinkers. ActivSpaces provides not only a great space to work but also opportunities to interact with other like-minded individuals. ActivSpaces helps entrepreneurs transform their ideas into sustainable businesses.

  • Ivory Coast :

Impact Hub Abidjan is a startup incubator and accelerator that was founded in 2019 with the support of the Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF). Impact Hub Abidjan aims to strengthen the Ivorian entrepreneurial ecosystem to help youth and women-led startups and SMEs grow.

  • Ghana :

iSpace Foundation is an Innovation and Technology hub in Accra, Ghana founded in February 2013. iSpace is known to offer a conducive environment for growth in the Startup Ecosystem by providing a working space, Training and Mentoring, access to Funding and other facilities for Entrepreneurs and Start-ups to launch and manage their business ideas.

  • Morocco :

A specialist in seed-stage startups and social, environmental and technological innovation, Bidaya (Social Green Tech) supports entrepreneurs in the creation and development of their high-impact projects. Bidaya has proven expertise in selecting and supporting innovative and growing projects.

  • Uganda :

The Innovation Village cultivates innovators, entrepreneurs, startups, and enterprises focused on social economic transformation as they seek to make entrepreneurship a visible driver of growth. The Innovation Village is building Uganda’s innovation ecosystem to be a catalyst for job creation throughout Africa by breaking down the barriers and creating a path for entrepreneurs to grow their business.

  • Democratic Republic of Congo :

Kobo Hub is a Congolese platform dedicated to the acceleration of startups and young companies in the Democratic Republic of Congo and is involved in training and mentoring startups to help them grow. Kobo Hub supports project leaders by providing them with a network of multidisciplinary experts, access to skills, resources, and infrastructure essential to the success and growth of their projects.

Sénégal :

CONCREE is an incubator specialised in the management and monitoring of seed programmes for SMEs and startups. Concree accompanies entrepreneurs from ideation to product market fit and combines incubation services with the development of digital technologies that enable virtual and face-to-face coaching programmes.

  • Tunisia :

The Laboratoire de l’Economie Sociale et Solidaire (Lab’ess) is the first Tunisian incubator for social and environmental impact projects. The Lab’ess aims to actively contribute to the sustainable development of social innovation actors to effectively meet the country’s socio-economic needs.
