{"id":121,"date":"2019-11-08T19:07:04","date_gmt":"2019-11-08T19:07:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/demop.netbaz.be\/2021\/afriquecreative\/2019\/11\/08\/premier-coup-d-accelerateur-pour\/"},"modified":"2022-01-26T14:53:55","modified_gmt":"2022-01-26T14:53:55","slug":"first-stroke-of-the-accelerator-for","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/afriquecreative.fr\/en\/premier-coup-d-accelerateur-pour\/","title":{"rendered":"First boost for Afrique Cr\u00e9ative: Back to the Bootcamp!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Through the different modules of the bootcamp, each entrepreneur was able to work on the <strong>structuring your business<\/strong> by asking yourself the following questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&gt; What is the vision of my company?<\/li>\n<li>&gt; How does my business make this dream come true?<\/li>\n<li>&gt; How can we generate sustainable income through our creativity?<\/li>\n<li>&gt; How can we finance our ambitions in order to achieve them?<\/li>\n<li>&gt; How can we have even more impact in the future and scale up thanks to Afrique Cr\u00e9ative?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>THE <strong>speakers from the four corners of the continent<\/strong> (Burkina Faso, Congo, Senegal, Uganda, Ivory Coast) shared their knowledge and experiences and sparked debates and questions around various themes such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&gt; The value chain in the Cultural and Creative Industries;<\/li>\n<li>&gt; The economic model and digital marketing;<\/li>\n<li>&gt; The sales pitch: selling your product or service to a customer;<\/li>\n<li>&gt; Intellectual property: protection of brands and copyrights;<\/li>\n<li>&gt; Investments: assess your financing needs and prepare your fundraising;<\/li>\n<li>&gt; Impact measurement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The interactive workshops and group exercises provided peer reinforcement. The entrepreneurs also highlighted the <strong>richness of exchanges<\/strong> within the cohort and in particular the interactions between French and English speakers. An evening of sharing with Alif Naaba, a very socially engaged musician, was an opportunity for each participant to talk about the obstacles encountered and the ways to overcome them and pursue even \u201ccrazier\u201d dreams!<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the entrepreneurs had the opportunity to discover the <strong>dynamism of the creative field in Burkina Faso<\/strong> : not only was a visit to the granite sculptures of Laongo organized for the group, but some of them also attended the \u201cFolies de mode\u201d fashion show by Bazem&#039;Se (one of the incubated entrepreneurs), and took part in various cultural events such as the Ouaga hip-hop festival or the Sculpture Biennale.<\/p>\n<p>A workshop with the theme \u201c <strong>Issues, challenges and needs of cultural and creative entrepreneurs <\/strong> \u00bb, open to ICC stakeholders in Burkina Faso, closed this intensive week.
