Dzifa Anagblah<\/strong> holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ashesi University. She is strongly passionate about design thinking, social impact and technology. She is a strategic and motivated team-player leader, passionate about improving the lives of others through design and innovation. Growing up in a community of batik makers and weavers, she always thought of ways to build the capacity of small-scale entrepreneurs in Africa. The complexity of their product development process prompted them to create a channel that allows them to become known in local and international markets. Working on technology projects for non-profit organizations pushed her to use technology in her business to promote the economic inclusion of many African artisans.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company<\/strong> <\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safi Label<\/strong> is a social impact company that uses mobile innovation to connect skilled African artisans, whose products have a social or environmental impact, to the global market. Safi Labe<\/strong>It is the result of a cross-cultural collaboration between artisans and weavers from across Africa, which combines quality materials and workmanship with ethical and sustainable practices. Many skilled African artisans have the capacity to produce products of international interest, but it is often impossible for them to reach these markets. Safi Label <\/strong>fills this gap by connecting skilled artisans with the global market through the use of mobile technology, while paying decent wages.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The development project<\/strong> <\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through Afrique Cr\u00e9ative, Dzifa hopes to obtain the necessary support to expand Safi Label<\/strong> to several African countries. The company is currently in the process of setting up its web-mobile platform which allows artisans to connect to the global market. This will provide financial security and sustainable growth to many artisans. Safi Label<\/strong> also employs field agents who source new artisans, carry out quality checks and manage deliveries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safi Label strongly believes in the power of storytelling, and aims to share the stories of artisans and highlight the moving stories and potentials of many African artisans and artisan communities. The company wants to create a welcoming space that sparks innovative and meaningful conversations about building Africa and supporting creators. Through Afrique Cr\u00e9ative, the company is also setting up an experience center for customers to experience the design and making of artisanal products and learn about craftsmanship and sustainability.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
