THE COMPANY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2018, Digital Cultural Experience (DCX)<\/strong> is a startup specializing in heritage education through digital technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DCX develops immersive experiences for museums, schools and online, to connect young people to their culture. It uses virtual reality and augmented reality (VR\/AR) to create unique experiences that capture the interest of young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company works with experts in history, storytelling and game design to develop quality, tailored experiences that are then delivered to schools, museums, archaeological sites and on mobile devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DCX aims to strengthen cultural exchanges in the Middle East and Africa by connecting young people to their heritage through technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE ENTREPRENEURS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mohamed Ali Midani <\/strong>founded in 2018, Digital Cultural eXperience, a startup that works to promote education in tangible and intangible heritage through immersive technologies. He is also a founding member of the Creative Hub, the professional group of digital content creators in Tunisia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Consultant\/Project Manager for various NGOs such as the Arab Institute for Human Rights, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Goethe-Institut, Mohamed Ali managed programs for the promotion of Human Rights, Entrepreneurship and Heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mohamed Ali hosted the show \u201cTechforGood\u201d on Essaida FM, the Human Rights radio station. He was also a columnist and scriptwriter on Express FM radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, Mohamed Ali founded Marketing Attitude<\/em>, a company specializing in Digital Marketing. Holder of a Master's degree in Marketing, he also taught communication at IHEC Carthage and the Free Mediterranean University of Tunis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maya Boureghda <\/strong>is a lawyer at the Tunis and Paris Bars. She holds a PhD in law from the Sorbonne University (Paris I) on \u201cthe bankruptcy of international financial conglomerates\u201d (2002). Maya specializes in banking, financial and corporate law. She has extensive experience in structured finance, project finance, private equity, capital markets and restructuring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maya co-founded the startup DCX with Mohamed Ali Midani, a startup that works on promoting tangible and intangible heritage through online platforms and immersive experiences. She also founded a legaltech, an online legal platform including legislation and case law (www.qanouni.tn).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maya helped structure several cultural heritage development projects and drafted templates and guides for the Ministry of Cultural Affairs to conclude concession agreements on cultural heritage development projects. Finally, Maya participated in drafting a law on the creative economy in Tunisia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE ACCELERATION PROJECT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afrique Cr\u00e9ative supports DCX in its development and in particular in the deployment of its new educational application \u201cLes B\u00e2tisseurs\u201d. This application offers an immersive adventure, using augmented reality, through which young people discover the major historical figures of Africa in the fields of literature, politics, science and philosophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prototype of the application has already been successfully tested with schools, students, teachers and parents. The next steps will be to make the application available on download platforms (iOS and Android) and to deploy the application on a larger scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
