The project leader 

Brahim El Mazned is a cultural entrepreneur, associated with the ANYA Cultural Agency. He is also the Founding Director of Visa For Music, as well as the artistic director of the Timitar World Music Festival.

Selected in the Guide to Cultural Diversity “Les Aventuriers de la culture” among the 100 exemplary actors of sustainable cultural development around the world, Brahim El Mazned was also selected by the Moroccan weekly “Tel Quel” as one of the hundred personalities who are moving Morocco. After more than twenty years of activity in the Moroccan cultural world, it has become an essential reference in the organization of major artistic events.

Brahim El Mazned has finally been named a member of the EU/UNESCO Expertise Bank 2019-2022, intended to support initiatives aimed at implementing and promoting the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.

The company 

Anya is a company active in the music industry through the organization of events, consultancy and artistic management services as well as publishing activities. Since 2014, Anya has organized the Visa For Music fair-festival each year, which brings together and brings together music professionals and artists from Africa and the Middle East but also elsewhere. This is the first demonstration of this type in Africa. In five editions, Visa for Music has carved out a place for itself in the landscape of major meetings for music professionals with 7,200 professionals coming to attend the 232 showcases given by some 1,461 artists from 2014 to 2018.

Anya is also responsible for cultural programming, particularly musical programming for different cultural events. Finally, Anya produces anthologies on several Moroccan musical genres in order to highlight those who participate in the preservation of the country's intangible heritage. Among these projects, we include the Aita anthology and those of Rways which are currently being produced.
