Afrique Créative 2021, in partnership with SAEs

Creative Africa surrounds itself with the expertise of Entrepreneurship Support Structures (SAE) able to support the acceleration of cultural and creative businesses in the 9 target countries of the program.

The incubators will support the selected companies (pre-incubation phase and incubation phase) and will support them in refining and implementing the strategy developed in their acceleration project. This support is completely tailor-made and adapted to the needs of entrepreneurs.

The partner incubators for the second edition of Afrique Créative are:

  • Burkina Faso:

Convinced that social entrepreneurship is an effective path to growth and development for Burkina Faso, La Fabrique has given itself the mission of identifying project leaders and co-building with them sustainable businesses with a strong impact on the society and/or the environment.

  • Cameroon :

ActivSpaces (African Center for technology and Innovation Ventures) Spaces, is a unique community/collaboration space in Cameroon for startups, freelancers, designers, entrepreneurs and independent thinkers. ActivSpaces not only offers an ideal workspace but also opportunities to interact with other like-minded people. ActivSpaces helps entrepreneurs turn their ideas into sustainable businesses.

  • Ivory Coast :

Impact Hub Abidjan is a startup incubator and accelerator that was founded in 2019 with the support of the Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF). Impact Hub Abidjan aims to strengthen the Ivorian entrepreneurial ecosystem in order to help start-ups and SMEs led by young people and women to develop.

  • Ghana:

iSpace Foundation is an innovation and technology center in Accra, Ghana, founded in February 2013. iSpace is known for providing an enabling environment for growth in the startup ecosystem by providing workspace, training and mentoring, access to financing and other facilities for entrepreneurs and startups to launch and manage their business ideas

  • Morocco :

A specialist in seed startups and social, environmental and technological innovation, Bidaya (Social Green Tech) supports entrepreneurs in the elaboration and development of their high-impact projects Bidaya has proven expertise in selection and support for innovative and growing projects.

  • Uganda:

The Innovation Village supports innovators, entrepreneurs, startups and businesses focused on economic and social transformation and seeks to make entrepreneurship a visible driver of growth. The Innovation Village is building Uganda's innovation ecosystem to be a catalyst for job creation across Africa by removing barriers and creating a path for entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.

  • Democratic Republic of Congo :

Kobo Hub is a Congolese platform dedicated to accelerating startups and young businesses in the Democratic Republic of Congo and participates in training and mentoring startups to help them grow. Kobo Hub supports project leaders by providing them with a network of multidisciplinary experts, access to the skills, resources and infrastructure essential to the success and growth of their projects.

Senegal:

CONCREE is an incubator specializing in the management and monitoring-evaluation of seed programs for SMEs and startups. Concree supports entrepreneurs from ideation to product market fit and combines incubation services with the development of digital technologies that make it possible to carry out support programs virtually and in person.

  • Tunisia:

The Social and Solidarity Economy Laboratory (Lab'ess) is the first Tunisian incubator for projects with social and environmental impact. Lab'ess aims to actively contribute to the sustainable development of social innovation actors to effectively respond to the socio-economic needs of the country.
