THE creative mentors guide incubates towards new horizons

Many businesses take advantage of the advice of their creative mentor to diversify their activities. This is the case ofOptimist Productions and its founders Safouane and Fatoumata Pindra who are accompanied by Christian Begbessou, cultural engineer, in the design of their YAKAAR+ project. Brahim El Mazned (Anya), for his part, imagines new projects with Patrick De Groote, artistic director for the Sfinks Mixed and Zomer van Antwerpen festivals. P. De Groote expresses his interest in this association: [turquoise]“Reinventing the operation and objectives of Anya pushes us to rethink our idea of culture and how it can fit into the world of tomorrow. »

Diversifying its activities is also the objective pursued by Patricia Defever (Southern languages) with Franciane Abassan, producer and Head of acquisitions & sales for Qwest Media. Together, they produce the animated children's series, Lina and Adam.

Another aspect of creative mentoring is the positioning of these companies in the market. So, Faisal Kiwewa, executive director of the Bayimba foundation, examines, with the director of Fezah, [Elijah Kitaka, trends, opportunities and market projections. Sébastien Bazemo, he consolidates the identity of the brand Bazem'se with Fashion FXF’s fashion business mentor, Bako Rambinintsoa. The latter believes that “the team did a fantastic job in clarifying their approach and implementing all the proposed action plans”.

The mentor of Daudi Karungi, Jennifer Mpyisi is an integral part of the Afriart gallery. She supports the director in (re)defining his development strategy, both in terms of his artistic choices and the strengthening of his team in order to move to the next level.

Other incubates carry out specific projects with their creative mentor. Soumaïla and Marie Kanla, founders of Kalanexpo, work with the designer Cheick Diallo to the design and style of their products. Angèle Diabang (Karoninka) teams up with award-winning director, Luis Marques, to work on the scripts for the new series she wishes to produce as well as that of the feature film " Such a long letter ".
