At Senegal, entrepreneurs aim to create jobs for young people

Fatoumata and Safouane Pindra, at the head ofOptimist Productions, initiated and completed works to expand their premises in Rufisque: the Yakaar Pole. This center now includes a recording studio, rehearsal rooms, a multipurpose room and a space dedicated to screen printing. The extension makes it possible to accommodate more young people, particularly during training sessions. [dark orange]training. In addition, Optimiste Produktions launches its new website so as to better communicate on its services, namely a complete solution for the organization of events in the musical field: programming, management, equipment rental but also, printing of t-shirts or caps, for example. Afrique Créative supports this diversification of commercial activities, making it possible to finance more activities of a social nature.

Karoninka

The film production company, Karoninka, invested in filming equipment which it can rent to Senegalese or foreign teams and which allows it to gain in autonomy. The company intends to diversify its activities by embarking on the realization of documentary and fictional series. Furthermore, Angèle Diabang, founder of Karoninka, lays the foundations of the projectMousso Institute, which is particularly close to his heart. The pilot phase aims to train six young girls from Casamance to the professions ofaudio-visual. This first phase should take place by the end of the year. Afrique Créative supports the structure in stabilizing its economic model in order to further amplify its social impact.
