Since last December, Afrique Créative has organized 16 modules of lessons via a online platform and software videoconferencing. Social performance, brand DNA, governance, the business plan and even digital marketing are all themes that were addressed based on the needs expressed by the entrepreneurs.
According to the incubates, these sessions were enriching on several levels:
- New concepts were discovered and others, already known, could be revised: for Angèle Diabang of Karoninka, “it is always enriching to hear other people's point of view on a given subject, repetition is educational”.
- Several companies, Crossroads Or Afriart Gallery among others, disseminate the tools offered in the e-learning modules within their respective teams.
- The discussions made it possible to discuss the specific cases of each company. “The sessions were an opportunity to ask ourselves questions about our company, and above all to listen to the group whose experiences are very rich” specifies Patricia Defever (Southern languages).
- Some teams, like that of Bazem'se, extended discussions with stakeholders beyond videoconference sessions with the aim of improving the management of their business. Anne-Cécile Bazemo emphasizes that “Being able to contact stakeholders individually is a great opportunity. Not coming from the world of entrepreneurship, this allowed me to understand a lot of things. This gave us keys for a better analysis: for example, I was able to question the community management offer even though it is not my area of expertise”.
Many elements covered during the online sessions could be put into practice. For example, following training in marketing and communication, Kalanexpo And Optimist Productions created a website. For her part, Eijah Kitaka took advantage of a module dedicated to pitching to review the way of presenting her business, Fezah. Finally, the members ofAnya took the time to quantify the importance of their impact on the music industry in Morocco and, more generally, in Africa. Keltouma Bakrimi, member of Anya’s team, testifies: “the session on impact was particularly interesting because we had never measured our impact in this way”.
