Here are the names of the 15 entrepreneurs selected for the next phase of our program!
After 3 months of pre-incubation and intense preparation for the pitch, our 30 entrepreneurs were finally able to present their acceleration project in front of a jury made up of cultural, institutional players and investors. This jury assessed the potential and quality of each project according to pre-established criteria. Ultimately, 15 companies were selected to continue the program.
These will benefit from the complete Afrique Créative incubation program, which includes technical, creative and financial support for 12 months. From July 2024, the 15 entrepreneurs will be supported by incubators to help them structure their economic model and encourage their scaling up.
Concretely, each incubatee will benefit from the following program:
- Coaching sessions business by local incubators
- E-learning training common to the entire cohort
- Bootcamp #1 focused on entrepreneurial structuring and consolidation of the economic model
- Bootcamp #2 focused on scaling up and preparing for fundraising
- Individual coaching by creative mentors
- Support from an investor with support in fundraising
- Financial support (between 30,000 and 60,000 euros)

Collective Media Cooperative (CMC) is a platform for innovative projects aimed at promoting more equitable relationships and outcomes in media and publishing. The platform offers the following services: AAZ (a client connection service for freelancers), Etcetera (etc) (editorial & content production studio), and AYU (production and publishing of books). Neo Maditla And Osiame Molefe are the two founders and coordinators at CMC.

WEAR Ghana is a fashion company offering contemporary African clothing. After a decade of brand building, WEAR Ghana launches Republic of Africa (ROA) as a vehicle for its expansion into the global market. Through partnerships with factories and designers in Africa, as well as effective marketing and distribution, ROA intends to make Afrocentric fashion a global benchmark product. Awura Abena Agyeman is the co-founder and director.
- DOBIISON
DOBIISON is a Ghana-based media technology company that provides Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality products and services that help organizations across various sectors in Africa transform their audience's attention into intent, driving sales and boosting the productivity. Their 360Africa platform offers interactive virtual tours and immersive 360º videos of Africa's natural and cultural heritage sites. Selasie Awity is its founder and artistic creator.
Kenya
- Freehand Movement
Freehand Movement is a Nairobi-based animation studio dedicated to creating high-quality content celebrating African culture and history through fun and entertaining experiences. Their flagship show, “Uli & Tata's African Nursery Rhymes,” is a 2D animated series that follows the adventures of a brother and sister discovering African nursery rhymes. Sarah Mallia is the co-founder of Freehand Movement and also the creative producer.

The studio offers complete audio services and podcast creation training. All this aims to enrich the media landscape with innovation. Mehdi El Kindi is the founder.

Skyline Media & Management Limited is a creative agency focused on marketing, content creation and 360° communications. Led by a team of creative industrialists with over a decade of experience monetizing creativity within the cultural and creative industry. Felix Byaruhanga is the founder and creative director.

Founded in 2019, Ker Imagination Education (KIES) is a globally recognized organization in the fields of early childhood, innovative education and parenting in West Africa. KIES offers a bouquet of complementary solutions for African and Afro-descendant parents through its network of schools, its educational programs and the production of animated series to stimulate learning. Studio Sankara is a Senegalese audiovisual, events and phonographic production agency created in 2003 by Didier AWADI.
